DOJ attorney who quit over Eric Adams case dismissal joins Pa. 7th Congressional District race

A third Democrat in the Lehigh Valley is running for the party’s nomination to challenge Republican Congressman Ryan Mackenzie in next year’s midterm election.

Ryan Crosswell is a former Department of Justice lawyer who prosecuted public corruption and resigned when President Donald Trump demanded the DOJ drop the bribery case against New York City Mayor Eric Adams.

Crosswell talks about his stand for democracy and “everyday Americans” in a video posted Sunday announcing his candidacy to run against Mackenzie, who Crosswell accuses of “colluding with big tech and corporate monopolies to rig the economy.”
